I think we’ve met before...

A phrase I blurted out to a stranger on a film shoot in Uruguay. We’d crossed paths a few times, drawn together by an instant familiarity. “I think we’ve met before.” She took my hand, smiled, and said, “Of course. I know you from a previous life.”

Whether you believe in it or not, I create from that place of inexplicable recognition—drawn to things that seem to carry a life beyond the one in front of us. Storytelling with history, soul, longing. Objects discovered and remembered.

I’m an old soul, an incurable romantic, wounded and healed by all the beauty and absurdity of the human condition. That sensibility finds its way into everything I make. When I’m not making, I’m a creative director (emphasis in art and design) at an award winning advertising agency in NYC.

Should you choose to, our work together will bring a forth a time and place. And if we get it right, a piece of you.

the process is there’s no one process.

Uncertainty is admittedly uncomfortable, but I mean it when I say that no project, no clients, no piece of artwork is the same, thus no project development is either.

Generally, it goes like this.
1. Free consultation: this is where I find out the what & when.

2. Based off the consultation, I’ll pull together an all-inclusive proposal including the cost, timeline, reviews and final deliverables. Please note: requests of specific materials will likely extend the timeline due to sourcing.

3. Once agreed upon, we’re off to the races. Simple as that.

For events, an additional cost will be added should you want me to send the materials directly to each of your guests.

 Send me a note at
www.wevemetbeforestudio@gmail.com with your name, a general outline of your project, and the final deadline, and 2-3 days & times you’re avaiable for a virtual chat*

* If you’re in New York, then we can meet in person depending on availabilty and urgency of the request.
